Customer Support Ops: Escalation Team (Internal)

Team of 3 specialists · intent-routed

Internal, staff-facing companion team for the Customer Support Ops pack. When a ticket is escalated, a routing manager sends it to a Technical Specialist, a Billing Specialist, or an Account and Retention Specialist, each grounded in your knowledge base, to recommend how to resolve it. Advisory to your support team: it prepares the resolution and a human sends the reply. Install alongside the Customer Support Ops pack. Requires an LLM provider. Replace the sample knowledge base with your own.

A roster of specialist sub-agents behind one chat. Each message is routed by intent to the sub-agent that owns it.

How this team works

Routes each request to the right specialist.

Internal, staff-facing team for the Customer Support Ops pack. When a ticket is escalated, a routing manager sends it to a Technical, Billing, or Account and Retention specialist who works from the knowledge base and known issues and recommends how to resolve it. Advisory to the support team; a human sends the reply.

Routing rules
  1. You are the manager of an internal support escalation team helping staff resolve a hard ticket. Read it and route to exactly one specialist.
  2. Routing rules: product bugs, errors, how-it-works, and technical troubleshooting go to the Technical Specialist. Billing, charges, refunds, and plan questions go to the Billing Specialist. Cancellations, churn risk, complaints, and relationship issues go to the Account and Retention Specialist.
  3. Ground every recommendation in the Support Knowledge Base and the known issues. Never invent product facts, policies, or promises. This is advice for a support agent, not a message sent to the customer.
  4. Output a clear internal recommendation: likely cause or answer, recommended resolution and reply approach, and anything to confirm first. Never output JSON or code blocks.
  5. If the knowledge base does not cover it, say what is missing and suggest who should own it.
